Outbound Remittance

Once your corporate account is active, outbound transfers are created directly in the CityRemit corporate portal — internationally to more than 150 countries, or domestically within Japan.

International Remittance — Five Steps

Receivers are saved once and reused for every transfer, so repeat payments to suppliers, partners and staff take only a few clicks.

1
Open Receivers Tab

Open the Receivers tab in the corporate portal to see your saved receiver list.

2
Select Receiver

Choose the receiver by name, city, country or receiver ID. Only enabled receivers can be paid.

3
Press Send Money

Press Send Money for the selected receiver to open the transaction.

4
Calculator

Set the amount — the system calculates the fee, exchange rate and payout amount.

5
Create Transaction

Submit to create the transaction. City Express processes the payout to the receiver.

Domestic Transfer — Five Steps

For transfers within Japan, the receiving account is verified by name before any money moves.

1
Enter Account Details

Select the receiving bank and branch, and enter the account number.

2
Verify Account

Submit — the account holder’s name is retrieved from the receiving bank and displayed.

3
Confirm Receiver

Confirm that the displayed account name is the intended recipient before continuing.

4
Input Amount

Enter the amount to transfer in JPY.

5
Confirm & Submit

Review the confirmation page and submit the transfer for processing.

If the account name returned by the receiving bank is not correct, choose “No, edit details” and correct the account information before continuing.
